BCCI OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING IPL 2020, TOURNAMENT WILL START IN UAE FROM 19 SEPTEMBER

IPL 2020 News: Official announcement has been made about the 13th season of the Indian
Premier League. IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel has officially confirmed when and where IPL
2020 will be played. According to the IPL chairman, the entire tournament will be played in
the UAE, as the corona virus cases are increasing in India. Brijesh Patel has also told that
the IPL will start on September 19, while the final match of the world's largest T20 league
will be played on November 8.

IPL chairman and BCCI official Brijesh Patel has told news agency PTI that the Indian Premier
League 2020 will start on September 19, while the final will be played on November 8. The
BCCI has finalized three places in the UAE for the 13th season of the IPL, including Dubai,
Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. All the IPL matches will be played at these three places, because the
Corona virus epidemic in India is not under control.

Let us know that the IPL 2020 was supposed to start from March 29, but before that corona
virus cases had come up in India. In such a situation, the BCCI had postponed the league till
April 15, but on April 16, the BCCI postponed it indefinitely. However, at one time it seemed
that the IPL would not be held this year, as the BCCI had no window left, but the postponement
of the two major tournaments gave the IPL a window.

In fact, after the postponement of the first Asia Cup and then the ICC T20 World Cup 2020, the
BCCI got a September-November window to host the world's most expensive T20 league, as
Asia Cup was to be held in September and then October-November. The T20 World Cup was
supposed to be held in India but these tournaments have been canceled for this year.
